None of it is world-famous, all of it is fun, and the wind decides the running order.

Start close to town. The bay needs a decent swell to wake up, but when it is on, the corners give long, forgiving rides past the boatsheds.

Finish at the Otaki rivermouth banks. The most consistent sand on the coast, and the sunset over Kapiti Island is the closer.
